Synthetic Data Generation
In industrial vision, publicly available datasets are often rare, and those that do exist frequently fall short of addressing the specific challenges posed by real-world applications. However, training robust and accurate AI models requires large volumes of high-quality, labeled data. Unfortunately building a custom dataset from the ground up is often complex, costly, and time-consuming.
Faced with this challenge, DELTATEC developed a unique capability: massive generation of ultra-realistic, auto-annotated synthetic datasets, powered by advanced 3D rendering engines. This enables us to :
- Speed up development and reduce costs,
- Overcome data scarcity and complex annotation challenges,
- Scale dataset volume significantly,
- Boost model generalization by exposing AI systems to a wide variety of simulated scenarios.
Depending on the use case, synthetic data can serve as a full training database, an augmentation to real-world data or a pre-training foundation that is later refined with fewer real samples.
